Fifth Annual Rafe Cochran Golf Classic

Thanks to Rafe Cochran’s talent, determination and generous spirit, nearly 100 people formed 19 foursomes on April 17 to compete in the Fifth Annual Rafe Cochran Golf Classic at Banyan Cay Resort & Golf in West Palm Beach, Florida. They helped the 16-year-old donor close in on this year’s fundraising goal to expand his fourth school in Jamaica through Food For The Poor.

The project will construct two new buildings for Holland High School in Trelawny, Jamaica, that will add four classrooms as well as office space and sanitation facilities. The funds raised will have a tremendous impact on the approximately 1,115 students and teachers at the high school and address the critical need for additional classroom space.

As Rafe says: “You are never too young to take action and make a difference.”
