Pastor Bill Mitchell

Pastor Bill Mitchell joined the Food For The Poor (FFTP) Board of Directors in 2024. He currently serves as Coaching Pastor at Boca Raton Community Church in Boca Raton, Fla., a position he transitioned to in 2023, after serving as the church pastor for 20 years.
As Coaching Pastor, Pastor Mitchell continues to facilitate CityLead, an initiative he founded at Boca Community Church in 2014 when he saw an opportunity for the church to engage South Florida’s business leaders. CityLead brings together more than 300 executives for monthly gatherings to hear Pastor Mitchell speak on integrity, building trust, and best practices to strengthen their businesses and make
their community a better place to work, play, live and worship. The successful business leader development forum has expanded into other cities around the nation.
Pastor Mitchell has traveled to more than 85 different countries, giving him a global insight on the unique blend of business and the nonprofit sector. Through WorldLead, a sister organization to CityLead, he has helped to strategically mentor more than 150 leaders from over 35 countries in various global nonprofit agencies.
In addition to his time in the ministry, Pastor Mitchell spent 20 years in the commercial real estate industry. He was named Business Leader of the Year in 2020 by the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
A third-generation resident of Boca Raton, Pastor Mitchell and his wife, Elizabeth, have five children and six grandchildren. He is a cyclist, hiker, avid reader, and world traveler.
