HAITI (December 17, 2019) “Following the appeal for support launched at the UN by China to the international community to face the food crisis in Haiti, the Government of Taiwan (Republic of China) announces that it will donate 20,200 tonnes of Taiwanese rice to Haiti in 2020, including 13,000 tonnes will be intended for the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) for the execution of its social emergency programs and 7,200 tonnes will be distributed for humanitarian purposes via the NGO ‘Food For the Poor Haiti’ (FFP-Haiti).”…
