SADNESS

Heavenly Father,

In this moment of sadness, help me to feel your presence. May I remember that Jesus, too, once wept, and that you understand grief and pain. Fill my hurting heart with your peace and help me to trust that this sadness will not last forever. Give me the courage to reach out to others in this moment, asking for help, friendship, and support. Please see me through this moment of darkness and help me not to lose sight of the Light of the World, and the hope that is mine in Christ.
