HOT 105 to Broadcast From Food For The Poor’s Office in Coconut Creek to Help Haiti Earthquake Victims

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2010) – In response to the earthquake in Haiti, HOT 105 FM will broadcast live from Food For The Poor’s office in Coconut Creek, Fla. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. So far almost 100 containers of urgently needed medical supplies, rice and canned food from Food For The Poor are ready to be distributed to the people of Haiti.
The Florida-based charity has a long history of providing relief in Haiti. Listeners are encouraged to donate online at www.foodforthepoor.org/haitiquake or by calling 1-800-487-1158. Local residents can also bring donations of canned fish, canned meat, canned milk and water to its headquarters at 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Fla., 33073. The charity cannot accept clothing.
