Did you know?
In Latin America and the Caribbean:
• 1 in 5 children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition.
• 30% of people live in poverty, struggling to bring food to the table.
During this new year, we turn our attention to the needs of the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Because of economic decline, the resulting high unemployment, and skyrocketing food prices, families have little or no access to food for their children. Many businesses and informal economies such as day labor and local markets have eliminated jobs or closed permanently leaving many parents with no way to earn money. Local ministry partners, feeding centers, hospitals and schools are experiencing rising numbers of children experiencing malnutrition and in need of life-saving food.
A parent earning a few dollars a day cannot afford to provide food even as their children cry out in hunger, but today, your gift unleashes a celebration of hope and joy.
Today, you can replace despair with hope and hunger with food for children in one of the 17 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean where Food For The Poor serves. Join The Daily Wire hosts, Ben Shapiro, Brett Cooper, and Michael Knowles to provide children with daily meals for a year. Thanks to a generous donor, your gift will be matched, dollar for dollar to feed more children.
Today will you be the answer to their prayers?
