Ash
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I lift up Ash before You. Your Word says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). Lord, she is overwhelmed in mind, body, marriage, motherhood, finances, hormones, exhaustion, confusion, fear, and pressure from every side. But You are not the author of confusion, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33). I rebuke every spirit of chaos, division, hopelessness, emotional torment, despair, instability, fear, rage, exhaustion, and oppression trying to attach itself to Ash, her marriage, her home, her child, and her future. In the name of Jesus, every assignment sent against her peace is broken. Lord, cover that baby (M.) under Psalm 91. “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling” (Psalm 91:10). Protect that child’s lungs, mind, body, nervous system, and future. Put conviction, wisdom, maturity, and protection around Ash’s husband. Remove childish behavior, secrecy, adultery, dishonesty, selfishness, addiction, escapism, and unhealthy coping mechanisms from their marriage. Expose what needs exposing, heal what needs healing, and destroy what is trying to destroy their covenant. Father, Ash feels trapped: trapped in an apartment she hates, trapped financially, trapped emotionally, trapped in uncertainty about work, motherhood, housing, and the future. But Your Word says, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight” (Isaiah 45:2). Make a path where there seems to be none. Open the right door for housing, finances, stability, and peace at the appointed time. Silence impulsive decisions rooted in panic, hormones, exhaustion, and fear. Give her a sound mind. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Lord, break every generational cycle of instability, emotional chaos, avoidance, division, dependency, and fractured homes. Let Ash not repeat destructive patterns she has witnessed around her. Raise her and her husband into mature parents who protect their home instead of running from it. Strengthen Grandma and Grandpa too, Lord. Give them wisdom, boundaries, rest, discernment, and protection from burnout, guilt, or being emotionally consumed by everyone else’s storms. Jesus, speak peace over Ash’s hormones, cycle, emotions, sleep, nervous system, and postpartum season. Calm the storm inside her mind. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you” (John 14:27). Let her home become breathable again : spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Bring order where there is disorder. Bring light where there is heaviness. Bring hope where there is dread. And Father, if there is any spiritual oppression, torment, or darkness feeding on exhaustion, conflict, resentment, fear, addiction, bitterness, confusion, or hopelessness in that household, let it be driven out in the authority of Jesus Christ. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore what has been strained. Heal what has been wounded. Strengthen what is weak. And let this season not destroy them, but refine them. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
