COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (May 8, 2013) – The winning national raffle ticket for a 2013 MINI Cooper 2-door convertible will be pulled on Thursday, May 16 at 5 p.m. at Food For The Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Fla. 33073.
In addition to hosting events that benefit the poor, Food For The Poor works with donors and volunteers to raise awareness and money through churches, schools and community organizations, as well as personal Champion For The Poor online pages, and hosting drawings and silent auctions.
“Raffling the MINI Cooper will have an exponential benefit for the poor,” said Angel Aloma, Food For The Poor’s Executive Director.”With the money from this raffle Food For The Poor will have the opportunity to feed thousands of hungry families, install life-giving water wells, and build homes – restoring dignity and safety to destitute families.”
To enter the drawing to win the 2013 MINI Cooper convertible, go online through the charity’s secure website before 3 p.m., May 16. Donations from the MINI Cooper raffle will be used to provide aid to the poorest families in the Caribbean and Latin America.
