Sheila Hanlon Ravindran Named Food For The Poor EVP/Chief Information Officer
COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (Aug. 26, 2024) – Sheila Hanlon Ravindran is Food For The Poor’s (FFTP) new Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Ravindran is responsible for driving the charity’s information infrastructure, technology strategy, and digital transformation.
Ravindran, who lives in Davie, Fla., joins FFTP’s executive leadership team with more than 30 years of experience as a technology executive, including 27 years in management and leadership roles.
“We are thrilled to have a professional of Sheila’s background and credentials join Food For The Poor, particularly at a time when we are seeking to expand our efforts in information systems and technology,” FFTP President/CEO Ed Raine said. “She brings outstanding technical expertise, a track record of dynamic leadership, and valuable business insights that will support our relief and development efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean, while also bringing positive change throughout our organization.”
Ravindran has worked at numerous companies across a variety of industries, including software, automotive, retail, distribution, supply chain/logistics, manufacturing, financial services, and consulting.
For the past two years, she has served as Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Jazwares, a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Recognized for her servant leadership style, innovation, and communication capabilities, Ravindran leverages business savvy and technical understanding to build consensus among diverse stakeholders and transform IT into a value driver and partner with business.
Her background also includes serving as Vice President of IT at Ultimate Software/UKG, in Weston, Fla.; Director of PMO Delivery, App Support and Business Relationship Management at JM Family Enterprises in Deerfield Beach, Fla.; and Director of Corporate IT Applications at AutoNation, Inc., in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Ravindran has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. She is certified in Change Management and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Ravindran has also completed the Disney Institute Leadership Excellence Program and holds a Graduate of Leadership in the Broward Class of XXI. In addition, Ravindran holds an ITIL 4 certification and a Product Manager certification from the Pragmatic Institute.
