In an Angels Of Hope-supported home in Guatemala, boys from remote areas are chosen for education scholarships and come to Guatemala City to receive a quality middle and high school education. They participate in various vocational training programs, choosing from carpentry and mechanics to computing and industrial electronics. These boys gain practical skills that prepare them for successful careers.

Food For The Poor is expanding its reach to alleviate poverty for more children in need. A home in Colombia is soon to be added to Food For The Poor’s Angels Of Hope program that will engage both boys and girls living at the future home. Children will learn essential skills in animal husbandry and agriculture. They will engage in hands-on projects like coffee farming and running a small store and restaurant. These activities will not only ensure food security but will also provide a source of income. Their education will not just be academic but will also be deeply rooted in practical, life-sustaining skills.
