New Initiatives: Expanded the SHINE (Strengthening Hope through Inclusive Nutrition and Education) program in Haiti, providing nutritious breakfasts to 10,000 students in 29 schools while supporting 600 local farmers and creating more than 700 jobs. Continued investments in sustainable community development, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Strategic Partnerships: Strengthened collaborations with Heart to Heart International, Water Mission, Feed My Starving Children, and the NCB Jamaica Foundation to improve healthcare access, expand clean water solutions, provide nutritious meals, and support hurricane recovery efforts.
Program Impact: Delivered more than 100.9 million meals during the first half of 2025 through Feed My Starving Children partnerships. Expanded access to clean water, strengthened agricultural livelihoods, supported education initiatives, and provided economic opportunities for vulnerable families throughout the region.
Emergency Response: Led one of the largest emergency responses in Food For The Poor’s history following Hurricane Melissa, delivering food, clean water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and emergency relief to affected communities across Jamaica and the Caribbean while supporting long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Total Aid Distributed: $394 million in aid delivered through 2,155 tractor-trailers, providing critical support to families across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
2024
Focus: Food Security, Sustainable Community Development, Agriculture, Water & Sanitation, and Emergency Response.
New Initiatives: Launched the SHARPEN Strategic Plan, a three-year vision to strengthen programs, deepen community impact, and create sustainable pathways out of poverty. Food For The Poor also launched Generational Expansion, a new initiative designed to engage younger generations in philanthropy and service.
Strategic Partnerships: Expanded multi-country collaborations with TaiwanICDF, Free Wheelchair Mission, World Food Program USA, Living Water International, Acceso, and other international partners to improve food security, education, agriculture, mobility, and access to safe water across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Program Impact: Provided access to safe water for 15,771 individuals, supported 5,068 farmers through agricultural initiatives, assisted 8,259 households through community development projects, and helped 2,802 people through food security programs.
Emergency Response: Delivered critical disaster relief following the 2024 hurricane season, including support for more than 24,000 people impacted by Hurricane Beryl in Jamaica and neighboring Caribbean nations.
Total Aid Distributed: $314 million in aid delivered through 2,160 tractor-trailers across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
2023
Focus: Water programs, Multi-Country Partnerships, Disaster Reliefs.
New Initiatives: “Generating Opportunities For Enterprising Youths” Teaming up with Entreculturas, we'll empower 2,900+ at-risk youth in Guatemala.,El Salvador., & Honduras. with education & income prospects.
Volunteer Program: 65 volunteers weekly packed 17,600+ Family Food Kits, providing over 70,500 meals.
Focus: Feeding programs, housing, education, and health care.
Highlights: Provided over 25 million meals per month, built 4,253 homes, built, repaired, or expanded 58 schools, and shipped 611 tractor-trailers of medicine and medical supplies.

Highlights: Provided 1.2 million meals per day, built 7,582 housing units, and distributed aid to Dominica, Puerto Rico, St Lucia, Antigua, and St. Thomas after hurricanes.

Highlights: Distributed 617 million meals to malnourished children and families, built 9,430 housing units, and provided relief aid to Haiti after Hurricane Matthew.
