Happy Thanksgiving!

November 22, 2021November 26, 2013 FFTP

From everyone here at Food For The Poor, we want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and say THANK YOU!

We are grateful for you. The people in the Caribbean and Latin America who benefit from your generosity are grateful for you. Thank you for giving the basics of life to poor children and families.

Because of your goodness, bellies are filled with nutritious food, kids can drink clean water, and formerly homeless families can live under a solid roof. What better usage of our time, effort and resources is there than that?

Let’s all make sure to take some time to reflect on what we’re grateful for in our own lives this weekend. We are all blessed in many ways.

To all the faithful supporters of Food For The Poor, thank you for being a blessing and an encouragement to so many. Let’s keep working together to help people in need.

What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving? Please tell us in the comments.

*ANIMAL HUSBANDRY: Food For The Poor has ongoing animal husbandry and apiary programs that support impoverished families and communities. The funds that are raised from animals and bees in this catalog are used to support the aforementioned programs.

**HOUSING: Because of the size and need of the average family, for $9,800, we build all houses with two bedrooms and a living area, sanitation and a water component, a cooking area, a sink, furnishings, lighting and structural elements to withstand severe weather conditions. You will receive a Certificate of Appreciation with a photograph of the family in front of their secure and comfortable home.
