Relieve Families in Crisis

January 24, 2022 RKD Digital

For 40 years, friends like you have stood alongside us to help poor children and families weather any storm — no matter how devastating.

Your faith in God and the kindness of people like you has never wavered. That’s why we’re reaching out to our most steadfast friends, to help families in urgent need suffering through floods, civil unrest, earthquakes and other disasters.

Because we’re already on the ground throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, we can respond immediately to provide food for families facing extreme hunger, lack of access to clean water, lack of safe shelter, emergency aid, and more.

Your donation can provide help and hope.

I’ve witnessed the trauma and devastation of disasters. In one moment, homes are gone, livelihoods destroyed, and lives lost.

Yet in those moments of complete despair, I have also seen the power of a meal, safe refuge, and a helping hand for a family who has just lost everything.

The relief washes over their faces when someone like you cares. It makes me think of Noah, and how he must have felt when he saw God’s rainbow after the 40-day flood.

In a family’s darkest hours, you will be there, shining God’s love and light. And providing hope that the future can — and will — be better.

God bless you,
Ed Raine
President & CEO

“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” Genesis 9:13 NIV
