The Holiday Season will be Brighter for over 1,500 Families this Year

On Saturday, December 3, Food For The Poor (FFTP) volunteers came together and packed 1,518 holiday food kits for impoverished families in the Caribbean and Latin America. All were eager to participate and happy to share their time in a meaningful activity.

More than 100 volunteers participated in the event, a pilot project for a new program in development at FFTP. This event was extra special because those who attended were the first to participate in a new kit-packing program at Food For The Poor.

Each kit included four cans of beans, four cans of tuna, vegetable oil, rice, two cans of peaches, two cans of mixed vegetables, elbow pasta and cornmeal. The kits are designed to meet the daily nutritional needs of families.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of families in need through your compassionate donations during this holiday season. We are deeply grateful for your support as we work to serve those who are less fortunate.
