Food For The Poor Announces New EVP/Chief Marketing Officer Vivian Borja
COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (June 3, 2022) Vivian Borja is Food For The Poor’s new Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, leading communications and all marketing and digital channels for the charity.
Borja comes to FFTP with more than 15 years of experience in integrated marketing campaign development, digital advertising, communications planning and analytics.
“We’re excited that someone with Vivian’s background and credentials has joined our team at a very important moment for our organization,” FFTP President/CEO Ed Raine said. “We know Vivian will help us strategize more innovation on digital marketing, broaden our reach with Spanish-language audiences and drive us toward the future.”
For the last nine years, Borja was Vice President of Marketing at Otte Polo Group in Coral Gables, Fla., an outsourcing group of companies, with divisions in the IT support, fulfillment – logistics, and call center industries.
From 2010 to 2013, Borja was Senior Regional Marketing Manager for Latin America for Medtronic (Covidien) in Miami, a leading global manufacturer of medical devices. She also had stints as the Senior Marketing Manager, Latin American & Caribbean for Western Union in Miami from 2006 to 2010, and as the U.S. Marketing Communications Coordinator for Johnson & Johnson in Miami from 2005 to 2006.

Borja teaches digital marketing as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College’s Homestead campus.
Born and raised in Ecuador, Borja is a graduate of Catholic University of Ecuador, where she received a degree in International Relations. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida International University.
