From Seeds to Market, a grassroots initiative in partnership with Acceso, empowers poor rural families in Haiti, and El Salvador by tackling hunger through sustainable agriculture. The program equips families with seeds, tools, training, and market access, enabling them to grow their own food, expand production, and build self-reliance. By offering a local alternative to food imports, From Seeds to Market fosters sustainable communities and enhances dietary diversity for those in need.

Program Highlights:

• Training: Farmers receive hands-on training rooted in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
• Inputs: High-quality seeds, seedlings, and fingerlings are delivered at low cost to participating farmers.
• Financing: Farmers access low-interest loans to obtain tools and inputs, which are repaid through produce rather than cash, easing financial burden and promoting reinvestment.
• Storage & Logistics: Harvested crops are purchased at fair market prices and stored using a hub-and-spoke model.
• Multi-Crop Processing: Local labor is employed in processing facilities where crops are transformed to meet formal market standards.
• Sales & Distribution: A dedicated team secures long-term contracts with major buyers, including humanitarian organizations.

Support our Empowering Women Through Sewing project, an initiative dedicated to helping women from underserved communities in Guatemala and Honduras achieve sustainable incomes. Through this program, participants refine their craftsmanship at our training centers, learning to create high-quality handcrafted handbags and other unique products.

To further this mission, we’ve launched a pilot gift program featuring a selection of our handcrafted handbags. This initiative explores a model where everyday purchases—like a handbag—not only fulfill personal needs but also contribute to a meaningful cause.
