Why Food For The Poor?
Food For The Poor’s administrative ratio offers a continued reassurance, over 95% of all donations, including donated goods, are used to support the destitute in 17 of the poorest of the poor countries in the Western Hemisphere. Food For The Poor is able to offer mission trips to church groups, allowing members to make pilgrimages to countries served. Food For The Poor also provides ordained ministers to speak at churches in order to raise awareness to the church.

Food For The Poor provides information and/or fulfillment packages illustrating how the funds are used. This allows those participating in the program to be able to understand how they are helping the poor. Food For The Poor also has videos of those in need of helping, allowing participants to witness the need.

Is Operation Starfish® hard to administer?
No, Operation Starfish® is easy to administer and requires no set executive board. All it requires are giving hearts and dedication to serve the poor. Materials to administer Operation Starfish® are provided by Food For The Poor at no cost to the group.
